Recently, significant information has emerged about Iran, revealing the average number of hours Iranians spend on the internet. This figure will surprise you.

Although Iran has been facing an internet ban for a long time, it occasionally receives relief from this ban. Now, a recent survey in Iran has revealed that Iranians use the internet for an average of more than 4 hours, which is significantly less than Americans, who use the internet for more than 10 hours per day. According to a recent survey in Iran, the average user uses the internet for 4 hours and 3 minutes per day, while globally, this figure is approximately 6.5 hours less.

This survey was conducted by the Iranian Student Polling Agency (ISPA) on behalf of Iran’s Ministry of Information and Communications Technology. The survey also revealed that Iranian users spend approximately 2 hours and 5 minutes per day on foreign platforms, while 28.4% of Iranian users also use foreign platforms.  Not using it at all.

This survey was conducted between June 15th and June 21st of this year. The survey revealed that internet usage time in Iran was less than the global average of about 6.5 hours per day. According to the same report, people in the US spend about 10 hours online per day. Tensions between the US and Israel have been ongoing for some time. Iran has been subjected to numerous attacks by the US, which have significantly affected internet service and caused significant damage to infrastructure.

• 90% use the internet for 1 to 3 hours
• 22.6% use the internet for 1 hour or less per day
• 32.4% use the internet for more than 5 hours
• 24.7% spend 3 to 5 hours online
